As the editor and creator of the Waynesburg University Parent Newsletter, I play a vital role in keeping students’ parents and guardians informed and engaged with campus happenings. Each month, I curate and compile essential information from various university departments, providing an opportunity for faculty, staff, and professors to contribute news or content relevant to parents. I also created a New Student Newsletter that went out during the summer months to prepare new students' parents.
In addition to overseeing content collection and design, I also work with University Relations to ensure that our newsletter aligns with the Waynesburg University mission and brand guidelines. Adhering to these guidelines helps to maintain consistency and professionalism within communication efforts.
